Luxury powerhouse Gucci recently released its SS19 collection, first previewed last year at Paris Fashion Week. Under the creative guidance of Alessandro Michele, the collection includes playful pieces such as Dolly Parton prints and even a Mickey Mouse 3D-printed bag. But staying true to some of the highlights of last year, the line also includes baroque motifs and Renaissance-inspired designs, this time applied to a selection of spring-ready garments.

This season, a signature baroque design pattern can be seen on a light-weight bomber jacket, harem-style pants, poolside-ready bowling shirts, and shorts. The preppy pieces mix elevated design flourishes such as Mother of Pearl buttons with retro-flavored details like striped cuffs and sidebands. And, while each piece is sold separately, they can be easily worn as full sets for particularly on-point head-turning looks.

All of Gucci's baroque pieces can be shopped online via the Gucci website, with to-be-expected designer price tags ranging between $980 and $2,900 for the stand-out bomber jacket.
