Aside from being an incredibly prolific rapper, Gucci Mane is about to officially become an author. To preview his first literary effort, Guwop shared a trailer giving fans a taste of what his forthcoming memoirs will explore. The Autobiography of Gucci Mane will arrive September 19 via publishing house Simon & Schuster.

He started writing his autobiography while serving time in a maximum-security federal prison, and it gives an in-depth look into his Alabama childhood, subsequent Atlanta upbringing, and time spent in the traphouse studio defining his sound. Gucci Mane also has a new album in the works, set to be released next Friday, September 15. Mr. Davis will feature Migos, The Weeknd, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Slim Jxmmi and more.
