Instagram continues to be subject to multiple updates. Following the launch of IGTV, as well as a new four-way video chat feature, the social media app is now introducing music to Stories.

For the first time, you'll finally be able to further liven up your Stories by soundtracking uploads with your favorite tunes. You can search for a specific song or artist, or browse by genre, mood, and what's popular. Once you choose a track, you can then fast-forward or rewind to find the exact part that you want in your Story.

To add music, simply tap the sticker icon and select the music option, once you've captured a photo or video. On iOS, you can even choose a song before shooting photo or video by scrolling to the music option on the Instagram camera. When followers watch your Story, they'll hear the selected tune automatically, and then be able to tap the sticker to see the song title and artist.

Music in Instagram Stories is now available in select countries. Be on the lookout for new songs to be added daily.

In related news, Instagram just launched a new space-saving version of the app.
