IT may have only hit the theaters earlier this month, but the record-breaking film's production company, New Line Cinema, has already announced that its sequel will debut on September 6, 2019.

Helmed by the same writer and director, Gary Dauberman and Andy Muschietti, the sequel will focus on the second half of Stephen King's book, taking place 27 years after the first IT installment.

No adult actors have been announced, however, the child actors are set to reprise their roles, so we can expect some flashback scenes with the young Loser's Club.
