Jadakiss has finally dropped his fifth solo studio album Ignatius, after a short delay. The 13-track Ignatius is a follow-up to his 2017 studio album Friday on Elm Street and features Pusha-T, John Legend, and 2 Chainz to name a few.

The planned release for the album was February 28, but the 44-year-old rapper decided to push the date back out of respect for his good friend Pop Smoke, who was murdered at a Hollywood Hills home in February.

“We held back to pay respect to Pop Smoke. It just didn’t seem like the right time to release the song or the visual or the project, so we just pulled it back for a week," he confirmed on the latest episode of For The Record.

The album is named in honor of his late friend and manager Ignatius “Ice Pick Jay” Jackson, who passed away from cancer in 2017. Listen to the new album below.
