We're not quite sure if Jimmy Kimmel missed the memo on festive fun, but this special Game of Thrones x Elf on the Shelf crossover special is oddly charming.

Entitled "Lannister on the Bannister", the skit stars Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as his character Jaime Lannister, only this time revamped as a slightly crude, watchful elf.

As the children run rampant across the house, Lannister keeps them in check with a series of GOT-related tales and stories, scaring the poor kids into good behavior. If that wasn't enough, the Kingsguard also manages to sneak in a quick incest joke.
