Double Tap to Zoom

The Air Jordan 1 is a classic that doesn't do much, offering a simple design that looks best when paired with equally straightforward color schemes. Some of the greatest pairs stick to the basics, even, like the "Bred" (black and red) and "Royal" (blue and black). The list goes on.

So, how to make it into the ultimate minimalist sneaker? Remove its Swoosh.

That's exactly what Nike did with the Jordan 1 Low "No Swoosh," which is exactly what it sounds like: a low-top Jordan 1 with no Swooshes.

It's not entirely Swoosh-free, with some of the unmistakable logos hiding elsewhere on the shoe. But of course, the biggest takeaway here is that, well, Nike took away the most obvious Swoosh of them all.

Another nice thing about the Swooshless Jordan 1 Low sneaker is its luxe construction. It features all-leather uppers with textured finishes. Some efforts even have a snakeskin vibe.

It's also complete with golden lace tips for an added touch of luxury.

The Jordan 1 Low "No Swoosh" sneakers came out in 2016, appearing in a variety of colorways. Now, 10 years and a KAWS treatment later, the "quiet luxury" steppers are back.

As we speak, a few of the previous colorways are already back on the market. The pink pairs are currently up for grabs on Offspring's website. At the same time, the blue reptilian versions are available on Nike Canada's website for 190 CAD, or around $136.
