Fresh from releasing new song "Frontline," Kelela is back this week with another delivery, this time revisiting "LMK," which is the lead single from her anticipated debut album. The behind-the-scenes look not only provides us with a glimpse into the making of the official music video, but we also find the songstress delving into the meaning behind the track.
"I think when a woman demands respect, men often think that they want to be with them," says Kelela. "Let me know - just let me know, it ain't that deep."
The original aesthetic was directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, while the on-hand bts look comes courtesy of Archie Thomas.
Kelela's debut album, Take Me Apart, is scheduled to arrive October 6 via Warp Records. You can go ahead and pre-order a copy today.
