Salehe Bembury, journeyman footwear designer, is never not in demand. He's already back together with Moncler, for instance, again cooking up a capsule of killer goods indicative of his singular sense of design: Stylish stuff that's aspirationally elegant and yet still meant to be worn every day.

Bembury's approach is so proven that he's maybe more of a repeat collaborator among his many partners than perhaps any of his untethered shoe-shaping peers.

His distinctive design language, consistently shaped by swirling fingerprint-ish geometry, has graced silhouettes as disparate as New Balance dad shoes and Crocs sneakers, the primary throughline being constant, instant sell-outs upon release.

Moncler Ēquipements Amoeba is a reiteration of elements that Bembury introduced with his 2023 Moncler Genius line and perfected in 2024 with a more focused approach. But instead of comprising ready-to-wear, Bembury's new Moncler line is more exacting (and currently available from on Moncler's website and from its stores).

These are the things he wears every day, so shouldn't you, too?

"This collaboration is an abbreviated continuation of the conversation begun with Moncler Genius," Bembury tells Highsnobiety.

This time, "we focused on accessories as the vehicle to resume this dialogue of product and community. Additionally we did not forget to prioritize utility as a foundational piece in the creative process."

Again, the crux of Bembury's Moncler team-up is the Trailgrip Amoeba, his inviting revision of Moncler's new-school sneaker.

Anchored by towering Vibram Megagrip soles and weather-combatting paneling, the Trailgrip was already useful. But in Bembury's hands, its Amoeba form is also also quite artful, layered with unexpected accents like ridged heels and sheets of resin that warp around its laces.

"There were many conversations about shape," Bembury says. "Ultimately, this shoe is a convergence of passionate designers' perspectives and design lines."

The Moncler shoe is classic Bembury. So is the accompanying Moncler utility bag, though it reflects a more personal side of Bembury.

"I wear one every day," he explains.

It's all part of the designer's versatile uniform: Technical jacket for all-season ease, cropped pants to match all sneakers, small stash bag to tote lightweight essentials. A natural fit for a guy always on the move.

The appeal of Bembury's multipurpose shoulder pouch was already obvious but Moncler does it one better with a water-repelling shell, zippered pockets, and a cord that recalls the outdoorsy inspirations that perpetually shape Bembury's toolbox.

He gets his cues from purpose-driven stuff, the space where fashion blossoms from function that births hardwearing stuff one could (and, according to Bembury, ought) to always wear.

As Bembury puts it, "The outdoor space will always be one that has space for progress and ideas."
