Brand: Mr P.

Season: FW18 (September Collection)

Key Pieces: Patterned long coat, corduroy double-breasted suit, striped green mohair jumper, navy leather bomber, ochre military shirt, along with the new range of footwear like suede desert boots and all-white sneakers are top.

Editor’s Notes: After launching a naval-inspired capsule, MR PORTER's private label, Mr P. now introduces its fifth collection, spanning 46 pieces, and the brand's first offerings of footwear and accessories.

The new line is inspired by artists and photographers who explored the world, such as Peter Beard, best known for his documentary images of Africa, as his aesthetic of his formative years in Kenya is reflected in the collection through pieces such as the field jacket, military shirt and chunky fleeces.

Additionally, the highlight of this drop is Mr P.’s new footwear range, spanning both casual and formal styles, including classic loafers, Derby shoes and white leather sneakers. Also, seven seasonal shoe styles will launch for the winter season, such as lace-up boots, a pair of suede desert boots and a pair of shearling-lined walking boots.

Furthermore, the footwear collection is complemented with new accessories like a range of socks colored in gray, black and navy for everyday use, alongside nine other options rendered in various patterns and colorways, designed for the colder months.

The collection's overall aesthetic also emphasizes relaxed tailoring, in addition to new iterations of its signature knitwear and laid-back sportswear with an autumnal color palette. If you like what you see, shop the collection on MR PORTER's website now.

In other new collections, The North Face debuts a vibrant "CMYK" line.
