On the surface, the HAVEN x Nanga collab looks pretty simple.

The Canadian retailer and the Japanese label made their debut with the first capsule collection made up of a few understated pieces. However, with a closer look, this collaboration is anything but bland.

The two piece collection includes the HAVEN x Nanga Skyline shirt and jacket. The pieces blend Nanga's heritage-inspired design with HAVEN's techy modern fabrics, bringing traditional Japanese aesthetics to the present day.

In a mix of outdoor-ready drops, sometimes it pays off to go with the simple look backed by excellent features. HAVEN and Nanga, you might be onto something.

Insulated with Polish goose down, the HAVEN x Nanga outerwear is warm enough to keep you toasty, but light enough to easily pack up. Plus, the recycled nylon material exterior is certain to keep you dry.

HAVEN has brought its impressive innovative touch to other brands before, like Clarks for example. The two's longstanding partnership recently produced the HAVEN x Clarks Weaver GTX. And similarly to its Clarks collab, HAVEN amplified Nanga's heritage in the latest collection.

The Haven x Nanga collection is available now at Haven, with the pieces running between $565 and $605.
