Have you ever seen a Jordan 1 stacked like this? The new Nike Air Jordan 1 Triple Stack “Sail/Black” sneaker takes the familiar low-top silhouette and quite literally pushes it higher.

The Triple Stack isn’t just a tweak or a one-off colorway.

It’s a new Jordan 1 variant altogether, one that adds height without reshaping the upper, signaling how far Jordan Brand is willing to push its most familiar silhouette.

At its core, the Triple Stack shoe is exactly what it sounds like. A standard Jordan 1 Low inflated with three layers of midsole and outsole. The result is one of the tallest Jordan 1s Nike has ever made, towering over even the traditional Jordan 1 High sneaker.

The exaggerated base puts it in the same visual conversation as other famously elevated Nike experiments, from COMME des GARÇONS’ stacked Cortez to the Vandal 2K.

Unlike Nike’s recent platform runners, the Triple Stack is not pretending to be technical. This is not a recovery shoe or a walking tool like Nike’s equally stacked Vomero Premium. It exists purely for the fun of it.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Triple Stack “Sail/Black” is expected to release in 2026 on Nike’s website, and that attitude fits where the Jordan 1 has been heading.

Over the last few years, the silhouette has bounced between luxury upgrades, goth-leaning boots, and trail-ready makeovers. The Triple Stack feels like another chapter in that evolution, one where Nike keeps testing just how far the icon can stretch without losing its identity.

It continues Jordan Brand’s habit of leveling up its most familiar shape, sometimes literally.
