Editor’s Notes: The Nike Shox TL resurgence continues with yet another colorway of the divisive sneaker making its way to Nike’s online store. This particular Nike Shox TL features a gradient upper reminiscent of the iconic OG Nike Air Max Plus, which itself was inspired by a Florida sunset witnessed by the Air Max Plus' designer Sean McDowell.

Shox technology was designed by Air Force 1 designer Bruce Kilgore in the mid ’80s, though the technology lay dormant until the early ’00s due to issues surrounding the durability of the materials used early in the testing process.
