After announcing that the NES Classic Edition will be re-released next month, Nintendo is also re-releasing its Famicom console in a special edition gold colorway. The release will be a mini edition and will be preloaded with 20 manga-centric games.
The Famicom originally launched in 1983 and was Japan’s version of Nintendo’s 8-bit console, the Nintendo Entertainment System. This special edition Famicom Mini celebrates the 50th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which prints popular mangas such as Black Clover and One Piece.
The preloaded games will include three Dragon Ball games, Saint Seiya, and Fist of the North Star.
Look for the gold Famicom Mini to drop on July 7 for around $73.
