I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: but what Oi Polloi doesn’t know about making an adidas sneaker probably isn’t worth knowing.

In fact, the Manchester retailer’s adidas collaborations are undoubtedly its finest, which is no mean feat when other OP partners include the likes of Berghaus, Sebago, Carhartt WIP, and Fred Perry, to name a few.

For Fall/Winter 2022, OP has presented the Salford Sage, the third entry in the store’s trilogy of green adidas shoes following the sought-after Ardwick and Moss Side releases.

Taking design notes from the aforementioned Ardwick of 2014, the Salford Sage boasts a similar shaggy suede upper, which sits atop a contrasting green – and classically slim – midsole.

If previous OP x adidas releases are anything to go by, these won’t be around for long, so you’ll need to be quick off the mark to cop them when they drop online at 8am (BST) on September 8. In fact, why are you even still here?

For those courteous enough to finish reading this, you might be interested to read that over 160 people camped outside OP for two nights when the Ardwick first dropped, with similar (albeit not as hectic) scenes with the Moss Side earlier this year.

As always with OP, this is right on the money. A low-profile, terrace-ready sneaker that’s draped in a colorway perfect for fall? Get your wallets ready, because they aren’t hanging about.

To be honest, you're probably already too late.
