Double Tap to Zoom

On Running makes cutting-edge sports shoes. That’s a fact backed by revolutionary, marathon-winning super shoes and innovative technologies. However, there's also increasing evidence to defend On Running's fashion credentials.

The established sportswear powerhouse is expanding into a more style-conscious realm, one collaboration at a time.

Taiwanese streetwear label INVINCIBLE — known for its brilliant collaborations with Carhartt, The North Face, and New Balance — is the latest brand to join On’s increasingly lengthy collaborations roster.

The two brands have refined the design of On’s chunky Cloudmonster 2 silhouette, dressing the shoe in a double-layer upper construction with a monochrome, all-beige color scheme.

Launching on February 21, it’s an undeniably clean take on a typically sporty-looking sneaker. And it’s not the only one in the pipeline from On.

While INVINCIBLE is announcing its On collaboration, Kith is teasing an equally minimal collaboration with the Swiss sportswear company.

As seen in Kith’s Spring 2025 Lookbook, the retailer has two monochrome sneakers arriving with On. They’re stripped-back, simple lifestyle shoes with small Kith logos tastefully emerging throughout the design. But more important than the shoe’s design is its existence.

That On has tapped one of the most influential sneaker stores for a collaboration at the same time as a streetwear label known for its collaborative output is a sign of the brand's expansion. Especially when you consider it has unveiled a third collaboration with Post Archive Faction almost simultaneously.

On has teamed up with fashion brands before, most notably with Spanish luxury house Loewe. But never have they been flying out with such frequency.

Clearly, On is taking its collaborative output up a notch.
