Key Pieces: While the apparel is on-point as ever, the hybrid Air Max 90 x 95 is the definite standout. The iconic Air Max 90 upper sits atop Air Max 95 tooling, giving the sneaker some very on-trend chunk. The black/dark red colorway is a classic with hits of frozen yellow on the tongue.

Editor’s Notes: Nike and Amsterdam label Patta have come together once again. Their latest project is called “Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!” and presents both footwear and apparel.
To mark the release, Patta invited 11 artists to share their own unique perspectives on the collaboration. Each artist shot a separate lookbook, which will be collated in a book created in collaboration with Linda van Deursen.
Today, Highsnobiety unveils the lookbook shot by Vincent van de Waal and Violette Esmeralda. The lookbook features frequent Patta models Edu De Leau and Tirino Yspol, and incorporates a classic Amsterdam aesthetic.
The collection's highlight is the wild Air Max 90 x 95 hybrid. The sneaker is featured in tonal black with hits of dark red and on-trend frozen yellow. A second colorway in dark blue will also be released.
In addition, there’s a haul of apparel, with a checker-print motif and bold typefaces — the latter inspired by the signage at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport — two of the more eye-catching design elements. According to Nike, the pieces were chosen “as a way to mix technical elements with classics.”
Van de Waal explains, “Traveling. Visiting each other. Getting to know each other. For us, that is where the collaboration between Nike and Patta started." As for the hybrid footwear, Van de Waal says, “The Air Max 90 is a robust classic, and the 95 has always felt like a futuristic design; combining both forms a mix between classic and more technical design.”
