Earlier this week, Childish Gambino unveiled a North American tour where he will be joined by Rae Sremmurd. Now it seems we’re in for a whole lot more – in a new interview with Vibe, Rae Sremmurd have revealed that a full collaborative album is in the works.
“We’re going to do a whole project with him. It ain’t going to even take that long. We might do 2 or 3″ says Rae’s Slim Jxmmi. “He’s just a cool guy and we got the same type of vibe, so you can expect good music to come out of this.” Meanwhile, Swae Lee casually dropped this bit of knowledge: “I got a laptop with about 1,000 bangers, I know Childish Gambino got about 2,000 or 3,000, who knows?”
Rae Sremmurd and Childish Gambino’s tour will kick off on September 6. In the meantime, the Sremm boys are gearing up for the release of their highly-anticipated SremmLife 3, while a Chlidish Gambino full-length is expected by year’s end.
