Raf Simons' eponymous label has unveiled its SS17 campaign imagery, shot by Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo.

The collection was first unveiled during Pitti Uomo in Florence last summer, and memorably featured the seminal work of Robert Mapplethorpe. Mapplethorpe's photography explored sexuality and homoeroticism, often causing controversy across both the art world and the general public — particularly his infamous chronicling of New York’s late-’60s BDSM scene.

Simons, a longtime fan of the photographer, plastered Mapplethorpe’s photos onto every single look of his SS17 collection. The collection is set for release in the coming weeks, stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, check out Style.com's Raf SS17 editorial video below.

After you've finished, here's everything you need to know about Robert Mapplethorpe.
