Netflix Releases the First Trailer for Iraq War Drama 'Sand Castle'

This week we get our first look at Netflix's upcoming original film Sand Castle. Sand Castle is set in 2003 Iraq during the early days of the Second Gulf War.

Starring Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), Henry Cavill (Man of Steel), and Logan Marshall-Green (Spider-Man: Homecoming), the film centers around Private Matt Ocre (played by Hoult), an inexperienced soldier who initially attempts to be sent home from the war, however, to no avail.

Sand Castle is scripted by Chris Roessner, inspired by his own experiences in Iraq.

You can look for the Netflix original to land on the streaming service April 21, 2017.
