Stone Island introduces a new capsule collection for SS19, referred to as Fluo. The brand notes that David Fluo is a star-shaped Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, dyed through high temperatures, also featuring an anti-drop agent. Following construction, Stone Island’s Fluo garments are washed at 60 degrees Celsius.
Stone Island Fluo SS19 consists of a hooded blouson, short-sleeve T-shirt, hood, knit cardigan, hooded jacket and bomber jacket. The hooded blouson is crafted from a three ply performance material with an 8,000mm water column. The outer face is paired with a breathable, water and wind-resistant inner membrane, backed by a flexible, textured polyester jersey.
The short-sleeve tee is showcased in fluo orange polyester jersey. It boasts a raised Stone Island compass graphic on the front, while the jacquard panel appliqué on the back also features the Stone Island compass.
The hood in ribbed fluo polyester yarn includes Stone Island’s compass logo as well via a patch on the lapel, while the knit cardigan has seamless stockinette parts and a ribbed bomber collar.
Lastly, the hooded jacket and the bomber jacket are transformed through head-induced compression, then featuring an anti-drop agent. The hooded jacket welcomes an over stitched visor and wind flap.
