Brand: Stranger Things x Nike

Model: Cortez, Blazer Mid, and Air Tailwind 79

Key Features: The first Stranger Things x Nike sneaker drop references Hawkins High’s green and orange color scheme and its tiger mascot. The second capsule, called the “OG Pack,” featured a red, white, and blue color scheme as a nod to Independence Day (season three of the show dropped on Netflix on July 4). The heel references 1985 (the year in which the new season is set) and the shoes are completed by a firework display sock liner. The third pack features a removable top layer, which can be ripped or burned off, revealing a mysterious base layer.

Release Date: October 24

Price: All sneakers cost $120

Buy: Nike

Editor’s Notes: After dropping three Stranger Things-themed drops earlier this year, Nike is bringing back every single sneaker for a huge restock. The Cortez, Tailwind 79, and Blazer Mid are all returning in three colorways each.

Season three of Stranger Things premiered on Netflix on July 4, returning us to Hawkins, Indiana in 1985, with Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Max on the cusp of high school. Naturally, ’80s nostalgia is at the heart of the collab, with some classic Nike footwear also making it onto the feet of characters in the new season.
