According to police, the alarm was tripped this morning at 05:10 local time and officers arrived to find a front window smashed. Dozens of items, including much of the products on display in the window, were reported missing.
The total losses are estimated to be in the millions of yen, i.e. tens of thousands of dollars. Notably, the cash registers on the first and second floors remained undistributed.
It's the second Supreme retail location to open in Asia. It's also one of the smaller Supreme stores. The Osaka outlet relocated to its current location in the city’s Nishi Ward in 2012.
