[UPDATE] May 3, 2017 5:10 a.m. EST — A full trailer starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey has emerged on YouTube. Watch it above, and find the original story and two teaser clips below.

Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey star in a forthcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series.

The Dark Tower centers around Roland Deschain (played by Elba), the last gunslinger who finds himself traveling across Mid-World’s post-apocalyptic landscape, searching for the powerful but elusive Dark Tower. The Dark Tower, which is located in the region of End-World, is the nexus point of the time-space continuum, and essentially, the center of all words. Unfortunately, however, someone is using the evil technology of the Great Old Ones to destroy it.

Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, The Dark Tower sees Elba and McConaughey joined by Tom Taylor, Abbey Lee, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick and Claudia Kiim.

You can look forward to the first official trailer for the film, which is due in theaters August 4, arriving tomorrow. In the meantime, check out three brief mini-teasers below.
