The final trailer for Netflix's Marvel Universe series The Defenders has dropped. The show follows the unlikely and often antagonistic pairing of Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, who are fighting to save New York from destruction.

The above trailer gives us a glimpse of the action to come. We see Luke Cage protecting his teammates using his bulletproof abilities, Jessica Jones throws a villain across the room, and the Iron Fist shatters Elektra's sword.

Meanwhile, Sigourney Weaver's character Alexandra delivers the menacing line, "They haven't lost everything. Not Yet."

The full series of The Defenders will arrive on Netflix August 18. Watch the latest trailer above and catch up on the previous teasers below.
