The first trailer for Taika Waititi and Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok has arrived, and Thor appears to be in a whole heap of trouble — not that he seems to give a shit.

Ragnarok, which is being billed as Marvel's most "out there" movie, takes place after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron and sees Thor (Chris Hemsworth) left imprisoned in another world without his trusty hammer, Mjolnir. He must participate in intergalactic gladiator battles (including one against his former teammate, the Hulk) to fight his way back to his home of Asgard.

The film will cap off an all-out Marvel assault on 2017, with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming also set to hit theaters this year.

Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas on November 3. Watch the trailer above, and some hilarious Thor spin-off clips below.
