Tom Cruise has proven that he does have a sense of humor after all by taking part in James Corden's "Role Call," a funny skit that sees the pair recreate essentially every movie role he's ever had in his long and pretty epic career.
"Are you ready to do this?" Corden asks Cruise, who walks out wearing a black tee and jeans topped with a suspicious olive bomber jacket. He replies, "No, I'm not ready, but I'll do it," before launching straight into Top Gun high fives and back slaps.
Each Mission: Impossible is well represented, and so are the iconic roles from Cruise’s early career, but then he whips out Cocktail, Rock of Ages, and a hilarious recreation of Born on the Fourth of July. The real highlight comes, though, when Cuba Gooding Jr. shows up to push Corden aside and bring back his Oscar-winning performance from Jerry Maguire.
The entire skit lasts almost nine minutes, but the nearly 60-year-old Cruise doesn't even break sweat. Watch it above.
In other movie news, you will soon be able to buy the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
