Tommy Wiseau’s 2003 pet project, The Room, wasn’t loved by critics, however, that didn’t stop the movie from becoming a cult classic. After finally receiving its first-ever wide release in cinemas earlier this month, Wiseau recently took to Twitter to announce the movie will be releasing in 3D.

As per the tweet, fans can also expect to enjoy The Room in 5.1 and 4K quality at some point in the future.

Although fans of the original project, Wiseau’s film has experienced a sharp increase in popularity thanks to the recent release of The Disaster Artist, which chronicles the making of Wiseau’s original and stars James Franco.

Franco received a lot of praise for his portrayal of Wiseau in The Disaster Artist. He was nominated for an Oscar at the time allegations of sexual misconduct emerged against him.
