2004

Patta was founded in Amsterdam by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume 'Gee' Schmidt. Initially, Patta began as a sneaker boutique specializing in hard-to-find models and vintage sneakers.

2006

Due to the popularity of the unique sneakers and the burgeoning streetwear culture in Amsterdam, Patta expanded its range to include streetwear apparel.

2009

Patta collaborated with Nike for the first time, releasing the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium QS. This collaboration put Patta on the global map and marked the beginning of its strong relationship with Nike.

2010

Patta temporarily closed its original location due to the end of their lease and later reopened in a new location in Amsterdam's Zeedijk neighborhood, a historically significant area known for its diverse culture.

2014

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Patta collaborated with numerous brands throughout the year, including Stussy, Gumball 3000, and Kangaroos, further solidifying its status in the streetwear scene.

2016

Patta launched the Patta Running Team, a community initiative promoting running as a sport and a way of life, showing the brand's commitment to community and lifestyle beyond fashion.

2017

Expansion continued with the opening of a London store, Patta's first retail outlet outside of the Netherlands, enhancing its presence in the international fashion market.

2018

Patta teamed up with Nike again to release the Publicity collection, which was a big hit among fans of both brands.

2019

To further expand its international footprint, Patta opened a store in Milan, Italy, and also collaborated with Jordan Brand to release the Patta x Air Jordan 7, which was highly anticipated and well-received.
