L’Agent, Agent Provocateur‘s more playful younger sister, is making a show girl style entrance into the Spring/Summer 2016 season with an intimates collection inspired by lime light and sultry nights.

The lingerie takes inspiration from the costume standards of showgirls from various eras, though La Belle Époque in particular takes precedence. Belle Époque or “Beautiful Era” was a time period after the Franco-Prussian War and before the onset of World War I in which much of Western Europe enjoyed widespread wealth and stability.

L’Agent’s collection reflects the hedonism of these times with coquettish ensembles featuring lace, feathers and vintage style silhouettes that somehow seem charmingly en vogue, even today.
