Tech startup Moment first appeared on these pages after having sought crowdfunding for its second-ever camera case: The Moment Case. For 2017, the shutterbugs return, seeking support to develop three new items designed to make your iPhone 7/7+ a better camera.
As you can probably glean from its title, the new Battery Photo Case supports the Moment lens and has a built-in power supply for extra juice. Using a custom design, the iPhone 7 carries a 2500 mAh battery, which is quite a bit less than the iPhone 7+’s 3500 mAh spec. Both allow for more than a 100 percent recharge of your phone.
The basic Photo Case comes sans battery and is described as the company’s thinnest product yet, adding only 3mm in thickness to your phone. Protective fabrics are incorporated to keep your phone safe from wear and tear. Perfect for lens mounting without the additional bulk.
The piece de resistance, however, is the new Moment Wide lens. A completely new design to fit with Apple’s latest specs, the shooter has been designed slightly bigger to accommodate the larger iPhone aperture. The new lens interface makes it even easier for the user to align, while Moment is promising much higher-quality results thanks to the new aspherical design.
The Photo Case is priced at $25 and the Battery Phone Case $100. The lens is also priced at $100. Head on over to the Kickstarter page for more information and to add your support.
