In an inevitable move — Apple will be bringing iTunes to the Windows Store, which was officially announced by Microsoft today at its Build developer event in Seattle, Washington.

While iTunes is already available on Windows, having iTunes on the Windows Store just makes it easier for Windows users to find the popular software. Other popular apps such as Google’s Chrome browser and Spotify are notably absent from the Windows Store as well, due to Microsoft’s strict requirements that some companies aren’t able to work with.

The release date of iTunes on the Windows Store has not been revealed yet, although, expect to see it later this year.

In other Apple news, the company is on its way to be worth $1 trillion dollars.
