As the iPhone 8 rumor mill continues to swirl ahead of Apple’s announcement next Tuesday, details have emerged on how the new flagship phone will actually work.
According to Bloomberg, the biggest change we can expect is the removal of the home button in favor of a Touch Bar-like virtual home button. Users will reportedly be able to drag this button up to the center of the display, use it to open multitasking, and use it to close apps and return to the home screen.
We’re also expecting an almost bezel-less design with a larger, and now OLED, display panel along with an infra-red sensor that will be able to recognize you in the dark, plus improved cameras that allow apps to take advantage of better augmented reality functions. You can see a detailed breakdown of the details right here.
We’re expecting Apple to announce even more at its presentation next week. What are you excited to see in the iPhone 8? Let us know in the comments.
Next up, YEEZY Season 6 is still happening, just not during NYFW.
