Editor’s Notes: The adidas Kamanda is one of the company’s more exciting new silhouettes, and will also be part of adi’s upcoming collab with Dragon Ball Z. Now, it’s being used as part of a collaboration with storied Italian sportswear label C.P. Company. Established in 1975 as Chester Perry, it changed its name in 1978.
Founder Massimo Osti experimented with fabrics and processing techniques like garment-dying, resulting in bright colors and space-age materials. Of course, Osti’s legacy is more known for his later label—Stone Island—but C.P. Company still has a solid following among the football casual set (and technical outerwear fiends).
adidas has also teamed up with the brand for a new version of its most iconic piece, “Mille Miglia jacket,” more commonly known as the “Goggle jacket.” It gets its name from the lenses on the hood and the watch-viewer on the wrist. We got our hands on the collab really early at Paris Fashion Week, but you can expect this to drop later this year.
