Editor’s Notes: The adidas Ultra 4D has long been rumored, with leaked images hitting the web earlier this year. Now adidas has officially confirmed that the 4D sneaker everyone has been waiting for will be released via the adidas app next week. Since 4D’s introduction, sneakerheads have clamored for the technology to be used on some of adidas’ more popular silhouettes, including the adidas Ultraboost.

The adidas Ultra 4D pays homage to the not-so-distant past and aggressively pushes the design into the future thanks to the 4D tooling. The sneaker will be available via the adidas app on August 13. Stay tuned for news on a wider release.
