This weekend, Kanye West and adidas dropped the "Bone White" YEEZY 500, and it's a release the whole family can rock. Built with premier leather on the upper, as well as cow suede and mesh, the shoe comes in adult, kids, and infant sizes. It arrived online and at select retailers on August 24, but if you didn't manage to cop the Three Stripes' sneakers you can still secure a pair at stock market of things StockX.
After a host of 700 and 350 drops, this sneaker marks the anticipated first YEEZY 500 release of 2019. The YEEZY 500 was the first of Kanye and adidas' joint-effort sneakers that didn't come with Boost technology, instead featuring a sole that takes great inspiration from the KB8 kicks, a shoe debuted during the early days of Kobe Bryant's relationship with the brand. With YEEZY SUPPLY focusing more on other editions of the sneaker recently, it may be worth taking note of this release.
Following the signature neutral palette of the series, this new 500 is topped off with reflective piping around the eyelets to add extra detail. In terms of technology and comfort, the shoe packs a midsole that's carved out of adiPRENE, designed for the ultimate cushioned support.
For the 500 fanatics, StockX also has the four previously released colorways of the model available online now. The "Blush", "Salt", "Utility Black", and "Super Moon Yellow" follow similar minimal palettes and pack the same tech as the latest edition.
