TreyWey, who is controversial rapper 6ix9ine’s manager, shared the sneakers on Instagram. He thanked ’Ye for the 1-of-1 YEEZYs and “all the support.”
The sneakers, which you can take a closer peek at below, are seemingly built on the YEEZY 700’s signature bulky midsole, which arrives in all-black. Major differences between the VX and already released Wave Runner can be seen on the upper, which features large 700 branding on the lateral side.
The upper looks to be made of some kind of nylon mesh material, providing the sneaker with a much sportier feel. The frozen yellow colorway is contrasted by black and silver accents.
The mockup above, courtesy of Yeezy Mafia, gives us a closer look at what the YEEZY Boost 700 VX could look like.
At the time of writing there is nothing from adidas or Kanye West’s team to indicate that this pair will release to the public. But chances are that this really is a 1-of-1 sample that West has given to TreyWey. ’Ye usually rocks samples of the colorways and models that will come out himself in advance of any release in a bid to build hype.
As he hasn’t done this for the YEEZY Boost 700 VX yet, it’s near impossible to tell when or if these will get a public release.
As always, stay tuned for updates regarding this silhouette.
