Yesterday we reported that Apple has released iOS 11.2.6, an operating system update that fixes a bug that caused a character from the Indian language Telugu to crash an iPhone and made apps like Messages, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp inaccessible.
However, Apple users who have downloaded the update have also found that it removes one essential feature — the battery bar. Of course, users have taken to Twitter to let Apple know about the problem.
According to Forbes, this isn’t the only problem with iOS 11.2.6. The magazine states that the update has also caused problems with volume control, Air Pods disconnecting, and has drained some users’ batteries. However, it seems like the problems with the latest iOS are just affecting iPhone X users.
If you’ve already updated your iOS, Forbes writes that some users are able to access the battery bar through the phone’s settings section.
