Editor's Notes: Whew, BAPE ain't slowing its roll even as we exit 2021. With plenty of drops hitting the market all the while, the stalwart streetwear label has pulled back the curtain on its comprehensive SS22 menswear collection, replete with classic shapes and new silhouettes aplenty.

In the past week alone, we've seen AAPE x Minecraft, ROAD-STAs, and a new Hajime Sorayama collab, to say nothing of the BAPE-STA's year in review.

So, suffice to say, BAPE is keeping its fans pretty busy.

SS22 sees the aged brand demonstrating its ability to learn new tricks. Or is that old tricks? See, BAPE is going backwards to move forward, reiterating themes from its old collections to keep its massive collection feeling fresh.

For instance, there are a few prints repurposed from OG BAPE (the '90s military tag and '40s-inspired Beethoven graphic, for instance), enmeshed with new designs, like the militaristic camo hoodies that sport 3D APE HEAD sleeve pockets.

Other highlights include tie-dyed puffers, day-glo neon 1ST CAMO sets, cardigans patterned with the BAPE star, and denim shorts. Normalize giant jorts!

No new BAPE-STA colorways or collaborative teases but this is just the lookbook, remember. Safe bet that t here'll be plenty more covetable collabs coming throughout 2022.
