At just 17 years of age, American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish continues her rise to prominence, this week sharing a brand new song, titled “When I Was Older.” According to Eilish, the track was inspired by Alfonso Cuarón's award-winning Netflix film, ROMA.
Billie Eilish released her debut EP, Don't Smile at Me, in August of 2017, as she has already accumulated more than 132 million streams on Spotify. You're sure to hear more from the rising pop star in the months and years to come, but for now, check out her latest offering above.
Again, Eilish's “When I Was Older” is influenced by 2018 drama, ROMA, which won multiple 2019 Golden Globe awards, including best foreign language film and best director of a motion picture. You can currently stream the movie on Netflix.
