It has been a while since we last reported about German luxury watch customizer BLAKEN, but their latest creation is so subtle and timeless, that we could just not pass up on it. We present the brand new BLAKEN Submariner "Explorer Dial." The brand customized the Rolex Submariner without the date this time and was inspired by a watch that the Swiss luxury brand actually produced in the '50s and '60s. The Submariner returns with a dial inspired by the Rolex Explorer, essentially adding the "3", "6" and "9" numeric hour marks. Rather than the usual black treatment, the watch was given a matte light grey upper, of course using BLAKEN's signature surface DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment, which makes the surface eight times harder than steel. That together with the matte black Explorer dial certainly makes this one of the nicest custom Rolex watches that we have seen in a while. Priced at 11,000 euros and limited to only 10 pieces globally, you can order yours today directly from BLAKEN.
