Amazing Fan-Made “Bob’s Burgers/Archer” Crossover Lands Creator a Job
This past week Welsh animator Simon Chong unleashed a self-made Bob’s Burgers/Archer crossover that he had been working on for seven months. The four-and-a-half-minute clip in turn features illustrations and animations by Chong, while utilizing multiple audio snippets from each show.
The video, which draws inspiration from the Archer episode where an amnesiac, Sterling, was living as Bob Belcher while ultimately being hunted by Russian spies, was so well done that it quickly caught the attention of the Bob’s Burgers cast, and more importantly, show creator Loren Bouchard. Just a day after posting the aesthetic on Twitter, Chong received a job offer from Bouchard who absolutely loved his work.
As of now, we’ve yet to find out if Chong has taken the position to work on Bob’s Burgers, but this just goes to show anything really is possible thanks to the Internet and social media.
Bob’s Burgers went to Archer, but I wondered what’d happen if Archer came to Bob’s Burgers. So I made this: https://t.co/DseQaMe1Ar
