Brand: Bristol Studio

Season: SS19

Key Pieces: New iterations of the Crazy BYW silhouette draped in a mixture of materials, white track jacket is clean, see-through mesh hooded jacket, and the loose-fitting track pants are pretty solid.

Editor’s Notes: After launching a sportswear-infused line this past spring, Bristol Studio continues the theme for its upcoming SS19 collection.

Encompassing reimagined sportswear staples consisting of sweats, track suits, basketball shorts and more, heavyweight mesh and lightweight mesh are juxtaposed on shorts, while sweats are deconstructed and reversible, as a nod to classic practice jerseys. Additionally, track suits are elevated through tailoring, as the line of footwear, particularly the adidas Crazy BYW made in conjunction with The Shoe Surgeon, rounds out the solid offerings as it utilizes a variety of materials to emphasize its 3-D nature.

Co-founder and creative director Luke Tadashi of Bristol Studio said, "I designed SS–19 with the intention of blurring the lines between sport + art. I always felt my most creative, as a kid, on the basketball court. When designing, I’m always chasing that creative feeling, trying to rediscover and recapture it."
