Editor’s Notes: The COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus x Nike Air Jordan 1 was first unveiled as part of the Japanese label’s Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2019 show. Now, following leaked product shots of both colorways, we’ve gotten our hands on the white version and can now give you your most detailed look yet at the collab.
While it was previously unclear whether the shoe was a custom model made specifically for the runway show, we can now confirm that the collaborative Air Jordan 1 will be released this weekend at Dover Street Market.
Rei Kawakubo’s label has a long history of unveiling Nike sneaker collaborations on the runway, with the most recent co-branded drop being two frayed Nike Shox TLs with oversized COMME des GARÇONS chain branding.
