Editor’s Notes: Craig Green is kind of like the Christopher Nolan of menswear; his collections are consistent, futuristic, and complicated enough to sometimes require a second viewing to fully grasp what's happening.

The London-based designer has read the room for 2020 and designed a collection that's passably formal enough for WFH, photogenic enough for Zoom, but also looks comfortable with soft, papery fabrics and inoffensive muted colors.

Green's signature quilting seems far appropriate for the current era compared to packing oneself into a shrunken Thom Browne suit, or wrapping yourself in plastic à la Raf Simons.

On the body, the new pieces align with what we've come to expect from Green with Samurai-like silhouettes, exoskeletal sculptures, and the odd circular cut-out to balance out the white tape-like fabrics running around the waist and cuffs.

However, on foot it's a different story. The new Craig Green x adidas collaboration introduces three new models arriving with circuitboard-like details, an overlapping rubber sole, ropes threaded through the upper, and a ribbon going down the tongue.
