Milan’s Damir Doma and his namesake brand have partnered with Italian sportswear legend Lotto on an exclusive collaboration. The 28-pieces collection combines Doma’s often disheveled style with Lotta’s values and heritage as a sportswear label.

“I was born at the beginning of the eighties and Lotto was already then one of the key players in sportswear," Doma explains. “Today, Lotto is a major brand with a glorious past worn by the biggest champions and athletes in tennis and football with a forward-looking and innovative approach to sportswear.”

Doma worked closely with Lotto searching its archive for the items he remembered most fondly from his youth. Lotto president Andrea Tomat personally introduced Doma to the brand’s collection of products, drawings, and photographs. Together they selected a range of iconic pieces that Doma could put his unique spin on including sneakers, bags, accessories, t-shirts, tank-tops, sweatshirts, rain jackets, and tracksuits.

“While I was going through the most important stages of almost half a century of corporate history, I could see the tension rising on his [Damir Doma’s] face," explains Tomat. "I got slightly worried but then I understood. Ideas, projects, and images were racing through his mind. Damir, apart from being a sharp and brilliant design experimenter, is a true sports fan. He has sports in his heart, in his soul. This is why, quite naturally, he was able to capture the spirit of our iconic products, reinterpreting them in a creative and original way. The result is a collection that enhances the sporty style of Lotto by means of a modern and sophisticated yet essential design.”

The Damir Doma x Lotto capsule collection spans both menswear and womenswear, check below for a full list of retailers. For more, visit Damir Doma and Lotto online and give them both a follow on Instagram at @damirdomaofficial and @lottosport to keep up with all the latest.
