Double Tap to Zoom

We’re just one week out from the launch of Highsnobiety’s second Diadora collaboration and our latest campaign centers on a stop-motion short inspired by urban birdwatching collectives.

The short contains influences from the light-hearted humor of Wes Anderson and photomontage films like the black-and-white French classic La Jetée, which was constructed almost entirely of still photos.

Highlighting the sneaker’s Eastern Bluebird reference, the short takes us through the scenic Catskill region in Upstate New York on a birdwatching jaunt to juxtapose the three-piece capsule in a more picturesque setting.

Check out the official lookbook here and look for the Diadora x Highsnobiety NY capsule to release Wednesday, October 24 at 11am ET (5pm CET), only on store.highsnobiety.com.
