What We’re Saying: FDMTL is once again lending its denim expertise to Vans for a collaboration that spotlights a trio of OG favorites. Arriving in just a matter of days, we find the Authentic, Sk8-Hi, and Slip-On silhouettes crafted from distressed indigo fabric courtesy of the Japanese denimwear brand.

FDMTL is known for producing Japan-made indigo garments with a level of craftsmanship that is unrivaled. For its latest collab alongside Vans and its Vault division, the brand uses patchwork construction and sashiko stitchwork on heavily distressed indigo jacquard cotton denim uppers to highlight the material's durability. All three models then feature a tonal indigo outsole that ties the overall design together.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a more mature, style-conscious Vans collaboration than what FDMTL has delivered for Summer 2021. All three patchwork denim designs will be available from Saturday, August 7, at select Vault by Vans retailers.
