Double Tap to Zoom

Move over, Ashton Kutcher, there's a new prank show host in town, as Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo has been tapped to be the face of Netflix's Prank Encounters, Deadline reports. Prank Encounters is the streaming service's upcoming hidden-camera prank program executive produced and hosted by Matarazzo.

Scheduled to premiere before the end of 2019, the show comes from Ben Silverman and Howard Owens’ Propagate, as each episode will feature a different set of strangers who believes they're embarking on their first day at a new job.

Matarazzo, 16, is of course best known for his portrayal of Dustin Henderson on Stranger Things. The New Jersey-born actor got his start on Broadway as Benjamin in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and as Gavroche in Les Misérables. The young entertainer is also in a band, Work In Progress, with his siblings Carmen and Sabrina.

Head on over to Deadline for more on Gaten Matarazzo and Netflix's new prank show Prank Encounters. And don't forget, season three of Stranger Things comes to Netflix July 4.
