Earlier today, news broke that three of the most notable nominees at this year's Grammy awards--Kanye West, Drake and Justin Bieber--all plan on skipping the ceremony due to its lack of relevance in today's music scene. This of course comes on the heels of Frank Ocean's overtly public refusal to submit last year's Blonde for any awards consideration. On the bright side, it still seems like this year's Grammys are going to be lit as hell thanks to the Recording Academy's reveal of some newly scheduled performers. Which includes Daft Punk.

Daft Punk have not played a single live performance since their appearance at the 2014 Grammys, where they gave a rendition of the monster single "Get Lucky" before going on to win the top prize of the evening, Album of the Year, for Random Access Memories. The Recording Academy has shared that the French duo will be performing with The Weeknd, with whom they collaborated on last year's album Starboy.

Also scheduled to hit the stage is the debut performance from Anderson .Paak, who will be playing with A Tribe Called Quest and (curiously) Dave Grohl. What that trio will produce is literally anyone's guess. Other artists who will be playing Grammy night include Alicia Keys, Adele, Bruno Mars and Metallica.

The 2017 Grammys will air on February 12 on CBS. Revisit Daft Punk's last performance at the 2014 Grammys below.

In other music news, Big Sean has shared the tracklist for his upcoming album I Decided. Take a look and see who's set to appear on the record right here.
